Another new blogging experience
My name is Morag Macdonald and I have just taken up a new post as Principal Teacher with responsibility for infants and Pre-5’s at Dunoon Primary School. For the previous 22 years I taught at Tighnabruaich Primary School mainly in the P1-3 class.
I have enjoyed using ICT in all curricular areas and recently began using an interactive whiteboard. I am looking forward to the challenges both in my new school and with the Glow project.
My colleague Marlyn Moffat and I are presenting a seminar at SETT about our blogging teddy bears and infant classes called ‘Infants Can Communicate”
Now that I am online at Dunoon Primary we used the internet to check out the Cowal Gathering website and had a look at tartans. I found a great site at home where you could design and generate your own tartan. If I can work out how to post a jpg. I shall include one of my designs here.
Impressed or what- I am amazed at the things you can do online.

Hi Morag – good to see you up and running with your ‘Glow’ blog. I know you’ve used blogger quite a bit, so I hope you like the extra features that WordPress allows. Did you know you can subscribe to comments as well as posts? This way, you can keep track of any discussions you are involved in if you comment on people’s posts!
